Some of the first novels I remember reading are The Lord of the Rings trilogy. This has informed my tastes and my writing. As for my recent reads, my favourites include works by Becky Chambers, Nnedi Okorafor, Joanne M. Harris, and Brandon Sanderson.

I live with my partner and our small family, which includes two ginger cats. Our household basically revolves around Biscuit.
